In a shocking incident reported from Rajasthan, a girl was found dead and naked inside a hospital in Banswara district of the state. The family of the girl has alleged that their daughter was raped and poisoned.
The kin of the victim has also demanded a post-mortem, which was still pending. The incident has been reported from the Khamera police station in Banswara.
A case under Section 366, 372 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has now been registered by the local police.
However, the section of rape is yet to be added. Instead of supporting the family and pushing for the investigation and post-mortem, Harendra Ninama, the local Congress MLA from Ghatol, allegedly called it an incident of ‘love affair that went wrong”.
Local sources told Times Now that the accused first dropped the girl at the hospital and then fled from the spot.
In a similar incident reported from Ajmer, a Dalit woman claimed that she was gang-raped by 3 men on Tuesday at a village in Ajmer. The woman, who is married, approached the police on Wednesday and lodged a complaint.
On September 29, the woman had gone to meet her mother as the latter was sick. The woman was on her way to Daurai village when a man identified as Teepu approached her.
Teepu allegedly dragged the woman to a nearby field and raped her. After raping the woman, Teepu called two of his friends to the spot who allegedly raped her. The three men held the married Dalit woman hostage for hours and dropped her on a nearby road before fleeing from the spot.
