Government has appointed Hannings Mlotha as the new Director-General for the Department of Immigration.
Mlotha replaces Masauko Medi who has been redeployed to Ministry of Homeland Security as Principal Secretary.
According to a communiqué seen by this publication, the appointment is with effect from October 2, 2020.
Mlotha was commissioner of police responsible for research and planning.
He also served as commissioner of police for the Northern Region.
