President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has this morning left for Tanzania on a two day official working visit.
The trip to Tanzania comes barely hours after a trip to Mozambique where he held bilateral talks with President Filip Nyusi.
Speaking on Wednesday before departure at the Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe, Chakwera said Tanzania is one of Malawi’s development partners.
He said apart from strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, his interface with his Tanzanian counterpart Pombe Magufuli also projects high prospects for expanded areas of cooperation for the mutual benefit of people of the two countries.
The Malawi leader is expected back home this Thursday afternoon.
