The Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) is offering to join forces in tomorrow’s demonstrations against what is being seen as a raw deal in as far as women representation in public positions is concerned.
The Women’s Manifesto Movement has organised the protests to express their anger on what they refer to as exclusion of women in appointments into the parastatal boards and the cabinet.
They are also seeking legal redress on the same.
HRDC National Coordinator Luke Tembo stresses that they cannot just sit and watch things fall asunder.
