The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has granted bail to Magistrate Harry Ngulube suspected of being involved in corruption malpracise.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Ngulube on suspicion that he received bribes in three divorce cases with an aim to favour one side in the three cases.

ACB Principal Public Relations Officer Eggrita Ndala confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Ndala, Ngulube, a third grade magistrate at Chiseka Court in Mitundu has been ordered to pay a bail bond of MK50, 000 and non-cash bond of Mk50,000, serender travel documents and report to ACB every fortnight.

Ndala said the suspect will be taken to court for full trial after all investigations are concluded by the bureau.
