Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Livingstonia Synod has said it is monitoring the performance of Tonse Alliance in ensuring that promises made during campaign period are fulfilled.
The remarks come as Malawians continue to assess President Chakwera’s performance in his first hundred days of office.
According to the synod’s general Secretary, Levi Nyondo, at the moment, there is need for Malawian to be patient as government is still setting paces for national transformation.
He says that as a critical section of the country, the church will continue to ensure that leaders fulfil their manifestos when in office.
He has since called on president Chakwera to walk the talk saying Malawians expect change that was promised.
