A 27 year old man identified as Foster Chisale, died last night after being struck by lightning.
The incident happened at around 22:00 hours in Shame village, Traditional Authority Mwase, in the district.
Brief facts are that it was raining during this particular time. The house of Foster was leaking, as such he decided to move into his parents’ house. In the process, the lightning struck him and died on the spot.
Postmortem conducted revealed that death was caused by severe lightning burns.
The deceased hailed from Chiderezi village, T/A Kaomba in the district.
