The High Court in Lilongwe has set Thursday, October 22 as the day it will sentence former minister of homeland security Uladi Mussa and former Regional Immigration Officer, David Kwanjana.
Mussa, who is Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Governor for the Centre and Kwanjana, were convicted earlier today by High Court Judge Chifundo Kachale in a case where they issued citizenship permits and passports to foreign nationals.
The court also aquitted two foreign nationals who were being accused of benefiting from the process.
