The body of Noriah Sendeza, daughter to Deputy Minister of Defence, Jean Sendeza, arrived in the country this afternoon.
Noriah died of gunshots in the US weeks ago.
Yesterday evening, President Lazarus Chakwera attended a funeral service held in Lilongwe’s area 47.
Other high profile dignitaries who attended the service were former president Joyce Banda, her husband Richard, Mary, wife to vice president Dr. Saulos Chilima, cabinet ministers and other top government officials.
Burial is scheduled for today at Matapila village in the area of T/A Mazengera in Lilongwe district.
