President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is today expected to address Malawians from Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe.
State House Press Officer Brian Banda confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Banda, Chakwera’s address will start from 11am.
Although the agenda of the address is not known, report indicates that Chakwera will address Malawians on some issues that has attracted mixed reactions among Malawians such as the yet to be tabled abortion bill.
Apart from that Chakwera is expected to address Malawians on the recent demonstrations held by human right activists on lack of women representation in public positions.
