Parliament has passed the Taxation amendment Bill which among others seeks to introduce a 20 percent tax on winning bets and lotteries.
The Bill also seeks to set a legal basis for the K100 000 tax free band.
It went through the committee stage without any amendment.
The tax free threshold of casual labour has also been increased from K15,000 to K35,000.
