Polytechnic Students are today holding online demonstrations in solidarity with over 1000 needy students who are being denied access to their examination results due to fees balance.

The college’s student union president Kunozga Mlowoka confirmed of the protests which are bearing hashtags #HelpPolyNeedyStudents #EducationforTonse.

The administration of the college earlier told the students that failure to pay school fees will lead to temporary withdrawal from the college.

They further added that students who fail to settle outstanding fees balances will withdraw from the institution and be required to repeat in the following academic year.

Meanwhile, most social media platforms such as Facebook are being filled with post bearing the hashtags in support of the protest.
