2 Netted For Murdering 70 Year Old Woman Over Witchcraft Allegations In Dedza

Police in Dedza have arrested 2 people in connection to the murder of a t0 year old woman in Dedza who was accused of practicing witchcraft.
National police spokesperson James Kadadzera has confirmed of the development and identified the suspects as Wesley Petro, 30 years old and Stephano Gervazio aged 55.
According to Kadadzera Petro was arrested in Salima after he bolted out of his village and Gervazio was arrested after he went into hiding.
Meanwhile, police officers are still hunting for other suspects.
The 70 year old woman was stoned to death on Saturday on the allegations that she killed her granddaughter through magic.
According to the eye witness, the child died the moment the woman had killed a hare.
The law enforcers have since urged Malawians to desist from acts of mob justice
