Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Prophetess, Mary Bushiri, will appear before the Commercial Crimes Magistrate Court in Pretoria this morning.

Bushiri’s Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

“Major 1 and Prophetess Mary are all fine.

“This Wednesday morning they will be appearing before the Magistrate Court in Pretoria, South Africa,” reads in part the statement.

The Hawks (Directorate for Priority Investigations in South Africa) arrested the couple on Tuesday over allegations of fraud and money laundering amounting to R102 million.

This is the second arrest of the couple by the Hawks. In February 2019, they were arrested over a suspected R15 million money laundering scheme.
