President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will on Friday preside over the official opening of Sogecoa Golden Peacock Hotel in the commercial capital Blantyre, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) Zanga-zanga Chikhosi confirmed of the development in a statement released on Thursday made available to this publication.
According to Chikhosi, the function will start at 10am and all invited guest are advised to be sited before 10am.
Former President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the hotel in 2017.
