Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP) Christopher Mzomera Ngwira has been admitted to Mzimba District Hospital.
Spokesperson for Mzimba District Hospital Ulunji Luhanga confirmed of the development.
According to Luhanga, Mzomera Ngwira was admitted at the hospital yesterday, October 26, 2020 but could not tell what he is suffering from.
Official from Mzimba prison where Mzomera Ngwira is serving a four year jail term were not available for confirmation.
Mzomera Ngwira was sentenced to four years Imprisonment with hard labor for abuse of office.
Until his conviction, Mzomera Ngwira was regional governor for the north for the then ruling DPP.
