Police in Kenya are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found dead outside a night club in Makueni County after he was last seen drunk the previous night.
The 36-year-old victim was found dead on Thursday morning by people, police told local publication K24 Digital.
Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan told the publication that residents, who were heading to work early Thursday, filed a report at Makueni Police Station that they had come across the body of the reveller.
“The man was seen dead-drunk yesterday night (Wednesday). When it began raining, he entered Bushman nightclub. It remains unclear how he died thereafter,” said Napeiyan.
The body of the unidentified man was taken to Makueni County Referral Hospital morgue as investigations into his death continue.
