Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri are expected to appear in court on Wednesday for bail hearing.
Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a statement released on Monday posted on Bushiri’s facebook page.
“Please be informed that the bail hearing of our spiritual leaders has been adjourned to Wednesday, 4 November 2020 for bail ruling at 10:00 hours (CAT).
“We thank you for your prayers and also for your unwavering resolve to always stand with our leaders,” reads in part the statement.
Bushiri and his wife are answering charges of fraud and money laundering.
