President Lazarus Chakwera has assented to all 12 bills that Parliament passed into law.
Parliament spokesperson Ian Mwenye and State House Press Secretary Brian Banda have both confirmed the news.
Among the bills is the much awaited Taxation Amendment Bill, which will see workers enjoying K100,000 free tax band.
Mwenye said what follows is the gazetting of the laws before they become operational.
