President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has condemned Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination leakage, saying it is an acceptable development.

Chakwera said this during the State of the Nation Address currently underway at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe.

In his address, Chakwera has given the Minister of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) Agnes Nyalonje seven days to apprehend the perpetrators of this year’s MSCE leakage at Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB).

The President has also given the Minister up to the end of this month to replace MANEB management with new board or else will dance to the music.
