A man in Zimbabwe is alleged to have died on Monday night while having sexual intercourse with his girlfriend.

According to local publication, New Zimbabwe, Chenjejwa Ncube of Makwika Village is reported to have been drunk when he decided to visit his girlfriend, Jacqueline Mwansa Bwalya who stays in the same area.

Bwalya’s neighbors are disputing Bwalya’s claim that Ncube died after having an epileptic seizure.

The neighbors have since called on the police to closely investigate the matter as they insist Ncube died after he suffered a seizure during sex with Bwalya.

However, according to Bwalya’s statement, the two slept in separate rooms. She has vehemently denied the allegations that are being leveled towards her by her neighbors.

“On 1 November at around 2 pm, Godfrey Chenjejwa visited the informant who was his girlfriend. While there, the informant asked if she could prepare food for him but he refused and asked for a place to sleep as he looked drunk,” said the police.

Seeing that he was drunk and it was late at night, Bwalya ushered him into the bedroom.

However, it is alleged that later in the night, Bwalya proceeded to sleep in the sitting room leaving Ncube alone in the bedroom.

Early in the morning, when Bwalya entered the bedroom that is when she noticed foam coming out of his mouth and nose.

“In the bedroom, the informant noticed that Ncube was behaving as if he was experiencing an epileptic attack and was failing to breathe. He was producing an odorless white foam from the mouth and nose. He was also groaning continuously and died soon after,” the police added.

The deceased body was taken to Hwange Colliery Hospital en-route to United Bulawayo Hospitals for a postmortem.

Meanwhile, the police are continuing with their investigations as they try to establish what caused his death.
