Senior Police Officers Arrested For Embezzlement Of Funds

Blantyre Fiscal Police officials have arrested five senior police officers for allegedly being involved in embezzlement of funds close to K900 million.
According to reports the arrested senior police officers are from Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
The senior police officers include commissioners, some of whom were recently in the finance department at area 30 police headquarters in Lilongwe.
Some of those arrested were recently transferred from the accounts office at area 30 and posted to other regions.
