Unconfirmed reports reaching this publication indicates that a Malawian pastor belonging to Prophet Bushiri’s Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church has been shot and killed in South Africa.
The pastor has been identified as Blessings Mduli Chirwa from Mwazizisi in Rumphi who was residing in Cape Town.
This follows the escape of Bushiri and his wife Mary from the rainbow country to Malawi on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
Bushiri alleged that his life and that of his family were at danger following their release on bail over the ongoing case of fraud and money laundering.
Currently, ECG pastors are said to be living in danger and are planning of returning to Malawi.
