Immigration officers from the Central Region have arrested three Nigerians for staying in the country without proper documents.

According to the statement seen by Face of Malawi reporter the Nigerians were apprehended in Lilongwe Area 36 residential area.

The three have been identified as Henry Chibuzor Onu 31, from Isu village in ebonyi state, Oba Eze aged 28 from Imo state and Ezeobikwu Izuchuwu form Ambra state.

The three are expected to appear in court soon for failing to produce necessary documents for staying in Malawi which is against Section 21 (1) of the immigration act.

However, the immigration department has asked all the foreign nationals to have all the necessary documents.
