Reports reaching this publication indicates that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will travel to Botswana on Friday, November 27, 2020.
The trip to Botswana comes barely weeks after a trip to South Africa where Chakwera’s entourage was ill-treated by security personnel.
The development made Chakwera’s travel back to Malawi to delay for about 7 hours.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation Eisenhower Mkaka also confirmed of the delay describing it as uncalled for.
