Two young men are reported dead after being struck by lightning in Mulanje.
According to reports, the incident happened yesterday, Thursday at Sapala village in Mulanje.
Village headman Sapala and Mkumbiza ward councillor Kondwani Namoyo said the two met their fate at Thuchira river where they were working as boat operators.
The two, aged 19 and 22 were taken to M’bidza health centre where doctors confirmed them dead.
The In-Charge at the health centre, Bonnie Mpukunyula, said death was caused by lightning electric shock.
