In a shocking incident, a 33-year-old woman allegedly helped her minor son stab a 26-year-old man to death in Kota district of Rajasthan. The incident happened after now-deceased man, identified as Saddam, reprimanded the accused minor for staring at a girl, who was the former’s maternal niece, police said.

According to the police, Saddam and the accused mother-son duo were neighbours. They lived in Bombay affordable housing Yojana, Kota. Saddam, in the past, had scolded the minor boy as he often gazed at his maternal niece while riding a motorcycle in the locality.

On Tuesday evening, an argument flared up between Saddam and the boy over some issue. Later, in the night, the boy, who was nursing the old grudge against Saddam, called him outside his house. As Saddam stepped out, the boy stabbed him with a knife multiple times, while his mother, identified as Roshan, held both arms of the victim, according to a report by The Times of India.

After the attack, Saddam was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Following this, the mother-son duo was held late Wednesday. An offence has been registered against them under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
