The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested Bright Kumwembe, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defence.
ACB Director General, Reyneck Matemba, confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
ACB is yet disclosed the reasons for the arrest.
Unconfirmed reports show that Kumwembe’s arrest in connection with the arrest of former Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development Charles Mchacha.
