UNHRC says that Malawi is doing well in the protection of the refugees in the country as compared with other countries.

The representative for UNHCRC in Malawi Fatima Mohammed Cole made these remarks in Blantyre on Wednesday during the opening of the UNHRC refugees and home affairs departments officers.

In an interview with the press UNHRC representative Fatima Mohammed Cole said that Malawi as the warm heat of Africa is doing well internationally in accommodating the refugees.

However the UNHRC has expressed it’s plans to invest in refugees education.

According to Çole education is a key for success.

in this regard her organization is exploring on ways of empowering the refugees with various innovations so as to be self dependent.

The government through the principle secretary and commissioner for the refugees Kennedy Nkhoma said that the meeting was timely.

Nkhoma further urged all the refugees in the country to Cooporate well with the country’s laws saying the country is a loving peace nation.
