State President Lazarus Chakwera is this morning expected to visit the Green House Farm in Lumbadzi, Lilongwe.

According to press statement from State House signed by presidential press secretary Brian Banda the president is expected to arrive at the place at 10 am.

Banda added that the president’s visit is aimed at “appreciating the new methods and technologies the Israel funded initiative is using to produce export quality vegetables,”

The greenhouse Farm is situated near Kamuzu international Airport (KIA) in the Capital City.

Meanwhile, Chakwera’s visit comes at a time when Malawians are dissatisfied with his continued state visits ever since he took power in June.

According to Malawians on Social Media, some of the visits the president is making are worth delegations adding the president should focus on issues to do with national interest.

“Chakwera can’t sit down in the office to deal with serious national issues,” one Kabula Chinga commented on Facebook.

Kavulula Amooti Shawa cautioned Chakwera that campaign time is over hence a need to sit in office and work while reminding him this is just his first term “You can do better, than daily out. You have an office please.”

One by the name Pyotr Naruhitto said Chakwera would have learnt from Tanzania President John Magufuli when he visited him the habit of staying in office.

On the other hand others were asking where the minister of agriculture is to make such visits.
