Well-known gospel musician George Mkandawire will be laid to rest today at Henry Henderson Institute (HHI) Cemetery in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Mkandawire of ‘Ulendo’ hit album died on Wednesday last week in Zambia after a short illness, according to family representative.
The body of Mkandawire arrived in the country on Sunday and today there will be a funeral ceremony at Robins Park in Blantyre.
According to information at hand, some artists will perform live a tribute song for late George Mkandawire.
