A 12-year-old boy was allegedly brutally thrashed by a gang in Bengaluru over an old rivalry with his uncle. The victim suffered several injuries along with fractures on both his feet. Allegedly, the gang was upset as the boy’s uncle refused to withdraw a complaint against one of them.

The 12-year-old boy’s name has been changed to Akshay. The accused left Akshay at a eucalyptus grove. The boy knew the accused. The name of Akshay’s uncle has been changed to Dev.

The case came to light when Dev approached the cops and lodged a complaint. Last week, a group of persons forced Akshay to get into an autorickshaw near his home. The accused then took the vehicle to a burial ground in Mullur, Varthur.

The accused then took the 12-year-old boy to a secluded spot and allegedly thrashed him. The victim, who was unable to understand the motives of the accused, requested them to let him go, Bengaluru Mirror reported.

The accused did not stop here, they allegedly forced the 12-year-old boy to drink alcohol and rook him to Ambedkar Nagar where they dumped him at a eucalyptus grove.

The boy was rescued when one of his family members was passing from the grove and saw him. The 12-year-old boy identified one of the accused as Venkatesh. The man took the boy to a hospital where treatment was administered to him. The accused were booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Juvenile Justice Act.
