Human Rights Consultative Committee chair Robert Mkwezalamba has asked the Tonse Alliance government led by Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to sort out the mess associated with the Affordable Input program.
Mkwezalamba said this year’s International Human Rights Day which is underway at Bumba primary school in Rumphi under the theme: “Recover Better-Stand up for human rights.”
In his speech Mkwezalamba asked to the Tonse Alliance government to stop the infighting and hit the ground running.
Mkwezalamba’s call comes barely a day after a woman in Chimbiya, Dedza collapsed to death while on the queue to buy cheap fertilizer.
The woman has been identified as Shyreen Kamtameni.
