Commissioner Kunje Surrenders Herself To Police

Reports reaching this publication indicate that the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Commissioner Linda Kunje, who was being hunted by Police for allegedly obstructing President Lazarus Chakwera’s convoy, has surrendered herself.
She has been spotted at Eastern Region Police Headquarters.
Kunje, who arrived in a white Toyota Prado Registration Number KA 494, in the company of three men is currently outside the regional police premises.
Meanwhile, police authorities have refused to comment on the matter, arguing they will give formal communication after recording statements from her.
