President Lazarus Chakwera has condemned incidents of violence during by elections held at Karonga Central Constituency last month.
The President said it is disappointing that some of the violent incidents reported were allegedly perpetrated by members of the Tonse Alliance.
The president made the sentiments at mass rally held at Karonga Community Ground.
President Chakwera said Malawi can achieve alot through collective efforts and unity.
He then commended the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) for standing firm and conducting a free and fair election.
