Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Commissioner Linda Kunje has spent a night in police cell after her arrest on Monday.
Kunje handed herself to Eastern Region Police headquarters after being hunted by police on allegation that she obstructed President Dr. Lazarus
According to information at hand, Kunje will appear in court today for formal charges on the matter.
Kunjue’s lawyer said his client has been locked in for the offence of aiding another person to commit an offence.
