The Lilongwe Magistrate Court is today scheduled to resume hearing a fake certificate case involving bodyguard of former President Peter Mutharika, Norman Chisale.
The state is expected to parade last three witnesses including an investigator in the ongoing case of Norman Chisale who is suspected to have been using Pythias Hiwa’s JCE certificate.
It is alleged that Chisale used Hiwa’s JCE Certificate to join Malawi Defense Force in 1996.
The state has already paraded witnesses including headmaster from Msipe CDSS Kenneth Hawadi, Major General Alick Mhone Chief of the Human Resources at MDF and former MANEB Executive Director Gerald Chiunda.
In his evidence, Chiunda told the court that with available JCE results of 1995, Norman Chisale failed while Hiwa passed.
