Two National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) officers have died following an accident involving a vehicle registration number BT 7855.
Balaka Police Public Relations Officer Felix Misomali confirmed of the development, saying the accident happened on Wednesday morning.
Misomali siad the deceased namely Ibrahim Issa Assan aged 30, and 41 year old Fanny Chipungu Banda were pronounced dead at Phalula health center.
He further said that the driver Focus Sikaloka and Thomas Nthenda survived with minor injuries and were treated as outpatients.
