United Transformation Movement (UTM) spokesperson Joseph Chidanti Malunga has resigned from front-line politics and is going back to Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) as a lecturer.
Malunga confirmed of the development in an interview with the press on Thursday,saying his leave of absence with Luanar had expired and that it was time to go back to the lecture room.
“Just to clarify that i was still an employee of LUANAR on leave of absence, which now has expired. i have to comply with the conditions of leave,” said Malunga.
The development means UTM has to appoint new spokesperson to replace Malunga.
Malunga once served as lawmaker for Nsanje South West
