A local Chief in Kenya has been reported killed by suspected Al-shabab militants who, after committing the crime, they placed his head on the road, K24Digital reports.
The Wajir’s Gumarey Sub-Location Assistant Chief Omar Adan Buul was abducted on Friday, December 18 by the suspected terrorists and taken to an unknown place.
“On Monday, his head was found by herders at the junction of Khorof Harar and Konton,” says a police report filed at the Khorof Harar Police Station.
“It was established that the deceased was decapitated at another place and head placed on the road,” added the report.
Buul’s head was taken by police to Khorof Harar Police Station.
“It would later be taken to Wajir County Referral Hospital mortuary.”
Police say the administrator’s other body parts are yet to be found, with a search launched.
