At least two people have sustained serious injuries while nine others have escaped with minor injuries after a vehicle they were travelling swerved off the road and overturned near Mnjiri bridge in Mzimba this morning.
The people were in a Nissan caravan minibus registration number MN 5846.
Mzimba police deputy spokesperson Sub inspector John Nyirongo says the injured were rushed to Mzimba district hospital.
The minibus was coming from Madede ferrying people to Mzimba boma for Christmas shopping.
