A Kenyan prison warder has killed a police officer attached on Sunday evening after the warder was found in the house of a female colleague who is the former wife of the police officer.

Around that time, Muthoni’s ex-husband entered the house and immediately confronted Kipkosgei demanding to know what he was doing there.

“Bonface Mithamo Ngarariga started beating Kering Kipkosgei and removed his shirt. Sergeant Esther Muthoni Mwangi, the house owner, separated them and got hold of Boniface Mithamo and escorted him outside the house,” read the police report.
