Minibus Owners Association of Malawi (MOAM) has said today’s planned strike has been cancelled.
MOAM Southern Region Chairbuperson Peter Mvalo says the decision has been arrived at after noting that those behind the planned strike did not follow procedures.
Mvalo says Blantyre City Council and Malawi Police Service had no knowledge of the strike due to organisers’ failure to meet as a committee.
