Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations were disrupted this morning at Chinamwali Girls Private Secondary School in Zomba after police fired teargas cannisters in the campus.
The teargas was fired while students were writing a mathematics paper.
Examination supervisors and students have both confirmed to Newsmen that four female students fainted following the incident.
There were also running battles between Minibus drivers and police officers who were trying to disperse angry demonstrators who blocked the road to force the government to either revise down fuel prices or increase Minibus passenger capacity.
