The Limbe Magistrate Court is today expected to start hearing a case -in which a police officer Andrew Chigaga is accused of raping a 17 –year- old girl.
Chigaga who is currently on court bail is accused of raping the girl at Limbe Police Station.
According to a police report on the night of December 12 the girl was arrested at Limber on an offence of idle and disorderly and was taken to Limbe Police Station.
However at the police station Chigaga who was the custody officer on duty allegedly raped the girl and released her from custody.
The state is expected to parade its witnesses today.
