Tim Robbins has split from his much younger wife Gratiela Brancusi.
The American actor and producer, 62, filed for divorce at a Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday, January 28, but it’s unclear when he married the Romanian-born beauty, according to TMZ.
Tim is believed to be around 33 years older than Gratiela, who graduated from the University of Bucharest in 2012.
The pair were first linked romantically in February 2018 when The Shawshank Redemption star brought Brancusi to the premiere of his HBO show.
In November 2019, the brunette beauty was pictured wearing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger while posing next to the Castle Rock actor at the Dark Waters premiere.
Robbins was previously in a relationship with Susan Sarandon. The two met on the set of the 1988 film Bill Durham and have two children together, sons Miles, 28, and John “Jack” Henry, 31 before going their separate ways in December 2009 after 23 years together.
