Minister of Mining Rashid Gaffar has recovered from COVID-19, faceofmalawi can reveal.
According to information at hand, Gaffar has tested negative of Covid after days of being treated of covid and he will later today be discharged from home isolation.
Gaffar tested positive together with late Mohammad Sidik Mia who until his death was Vice President for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
Recently one of the top official in MCP identified as Rhino Chiphiko spread the news that Gaffar is no more.
But he later apologized to the nation after it turned out to be false.
So far COVID-19 has claimd lives of over 700 people.
