Old Mutual Malawi Lilongwe City Centre Branch has been closed temporary for disinfection exercise as ordered by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera a month ago.
Last month Chakwera ordered that all buildings/offices should disinfected once every week to control the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic which has so far claimed over 700 people in the country.
According to information seen by this publication, the offices will be opened at 1:30pm.
“Please note that our Lilongwe City Centre Branch will be closed with immediate effect, on Monday 1st February, for disinfection in line with with COVID-19 protocols.
“The branch will re-open for business at 1:30pm,” reads in part the statement.
Old Mutual has since advised its customers to use toll free line in transacting with the company.
