The High Court in Blantyre is today expected to deliver its ruling in 3 separate cases where Malawi Congress Party members in Chikwawa and Nsanje Districts are challenging results of the May 21 parliamentary elections.

Initially the court was supposed to deliver its judgment on Tuesday but Judge Silvester Kalembera adjourned the determination to today.

In the case – Kafandikhale Mandevana of Nsanje Central, Enoch Chizuzu (Nsanje North) and Foster Thipiwa are all challenging results of the parliamentary elections arguing there were massive irregularities during the elections.

Following the election, MEC declared Francis Kasasila of DPP in Nsanje Central, Esther Mcheka Chilenje of Nsanje North (DPP) and Sam Khumbanyiwa of UDF in Chikwawa East winners.
