Joyce Banda’s son laid to rest

The body of son to former President Dr. Joyce Banda, Geoffrey Kachale Banda ,has now been laid to rest at area 18 cemetery in the capital Lilongwe.
He died last night At Bingu National Stadium (BNS) field Isolation Centre while receiving treatment for COVID-19.
Geoffrey Kachale Banda was born on 9th June, 1972.
He is survived by a wife Mercy and two children.
Over 700 Malawians including two Cabinet Ministers under Tonse Alliance of Dr. Lazarus Chakwera have succumbed to COVID-19 in the country.
